Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Matterhornblick, particularly the clean and cozy room with a lovely view of the Matterhorn. However, the negative experience with the rude owner at check-in really put a damper on my experience. The friendly staff, nice spa facilities, and reasonable breakfast were highlights that made up for some of the shortcomings.

My room was cozy, comfortable, and clean, offering a amazing view of the Matterhorn. It was a bit small and had a lower ceiling, but it was still a lovely place to rest.

While most of the staff were friendly and helpful, my check-in experience with the owner was quite unpleasant. His rude demeanor overshadowed the otherwise positive interactions I had with the other staff members.

The hotel's location was perfect-just a short walk from the train station and right in the center of Zermatt. Everything I needed was easily accessible, yet the hotel itself felt peaceful at night.

Breakfast was decent with usual Swiss offerings, though it could've been better. Having a hot kitchen for fresh eggs would have made a big difference.

The spa facilities were nice, with a jacuzzi and steam room adding a touch of relaxation after a long day. However, it would have been even better with more secure luggage storage options.

However, there were a few drawbacks, like occasional issues with shower water and limited early morning options for breakfast.
